Vice President Joe Biden will be in Iowa Saturday as a special guest at the Iowa Democratic Party's annual Jefferson Jackson Dinner.

According to the Iowa Democratic Party, Sen. Tom Harkin is also expected to speak, but may miss the event if he's delayed by the Senate health care vote Saturday.

Earlier this week, Vice President Tariq al-Hashimi vetoed the proposed election law, saying he wants more representation for Iraqis living abroad, many of whom are Sunni Arabs.
Iraqi lawmakers are expected to vote Saturday to resolve a political deadlock over a much-delayed electoral law that is required for general elections in January.
The move prompted Iraq's electoral commission to halt preparations for the general election set for January.

Since questions arose over accuracy of data at a government Web site created to track stimulus funding, federal officials said they waited to fix errors until after they showed up online so that it didn't appear the government manipulated data.
